Partner and Head of Piper Smith Watton's Aviation & Travel team, Ian works exclusively in the travel sector.

Ian has been involved with the world of aviation and travel since 1983 and is a well known figure in the industry. He works exclusively in the travel sector and his clients range from airlines, travel management companies, tour operators, hotels and travel suppliers.

Ian focuses on business to business corporate and commercial law as well as commercial disputes and often describes himself as 'working at the coalface' for his many and varied clients, sorting out their commercial and regulatory issues and claims.

Ian is also a talented litigator and has had a number of reported cases in the High Court.

He is also a regular columnist for the trade magazine 'Buying Business Travel'.
