Claire is a senior property litigation solicitor who has extensive experience in dealing with all aspects of commercial property disputes affecting the retail sector and corporate landowners and leaseholders. Her work therefore encompasses landlord and tenant disputes including lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations, recovery of arrears and providing insolvency advice.
Claire also advises and represents landlords and tenants with disputes concerning boundaries and rights of way and rights of parking. She is currently representing a high profile corporate landlord and its insurer who are defending complaints regarding water ingress that has caused several hundred thousand pounds worth of damage.
As a former partner with a niche property litigation firm, Claire has been involved in a number of reported cases. She is the key litigation contact for many of the firm's clients including two major national retailers, providing support to the firm's specialist retail team and the wider real-estate department covering commercial property and construction.
