Training Contracts

We regard our trainees as the firm’s future and we therefore seek to ensure that we recruit trainees who genuinely have a keen interest in our business, our practice areas and our clients and who want to make a significant contribution to the firm’s success.

Structure of the Training Contract

We recruit two trainees every year, in April and October. Training seats are currently offered in four of the following disciplines:

  • Aviation Travel & Tourism
  • Corporate
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Private Client
  • Real Estate

We appreciate that during your training contract you will face many new challenges. We provide all trainees with an extensive support network to ensure you get the best from each of your seats. All of our trainees are allocated an individual training principal, usually a partner, for each seat. Performance reviews are held at the mid-point and end of each six month seat, although discussions on work are held on a regular, even daily basis with your principal who is there to encourage your progress.
