History

Piper Smith Watton was formed in April 2004, from the merger of two established London law firms, Piper Smith & Basham and Hughes Watton. In June of the same year, former members of London Bridge practice Boyd & Hutchinson also joined the new practice.

By combining the talents of all three former practices, the new firm, Piper Smith Watton,  is able to provide its clients with far greater depth of expertise across its practice areas,  whilst continuing to enhance and build upon the new practice’s core strengths.

In May 2007 Piper Smith Watton adopted LLP status and in February 2008, the firm relocated from its two former offices in Warwick Square and Eccleston Square into its new headquarter building located in the heart of Westminster.
